Bold Statements

Hello everyone! I have been so BUSY this past couple of months with classes, interning, and non-stop interviewing with many different companies. Nonetheless, I can officially say I've landed my dream job with an amazing company within LVMH. I'm so excited to continue to be a part of the fashion industry while continuing to share all my experience with all of you! That being said, being a student and an intern in the fashion industry has been a phenomenal experience (which I'll talk more about during my graduation posts).

For now, I wanted to briefly talk about the importance of making bold statements. I don't necessarily mean wearing a bright red jacket --- but if you own one go for it at full force people!!! -- What I really mean is make a bold statement, wherever you go in life and in your career.

Don't be afraid to show people your aspirations and the work you are willing to put in. Show people your positivity, passion, and willpower especially when you're trying to make it into such a tough industry such as the Fashion Industry. It's so important to make ourselves stand out in a crowd full of people that chase the same dreams.

The best advice I can give is to really stay hungry, humble, and excited because that will really separate you from many people. Listening and asking questions is a humbling way to separate yourself. There will always be someone who can get the job done, but it's so much harder to find someone who is genuine, passionate and willing to be a team player.

People truly underestimate the power of listening to other human beings. We all like to feel heard!! I promise people will remember you by the eagerness you show in learning rather than talking to someone solely about your experiences.
